The ISS Midseason Rankings for All 2007 CHL drafts have been released. The following is a list of notable players and their ranking positions:
WHL Bantam Draft
Rank --- Player --- Position --- Club
1. Buster Bluth, RW, Vancouver NW Giants 2. Nail Yakupov, LW, Vancouver NW Giants 3. Justin Kirsch, RW, Vancouver NE Attack 5. Chanandler Bong, C, Vernon Vipers 7. Sam Martin, C, Ridge Meadows Rustlers 10. Brent Marchand, G, Ridge Meadows Rustlers 93. Alex Deere, G, Fort Saskatchewan Rangers 110. John Deere, LD, Fort Saskatchewan Rangers
*Note: Looking at player stats and ratings, it'll probably be a toss-up which order the top-3 get drafted. It'll probably come down to team needs. Bluth is more of a speedy, pure-goalscoring winger while Kirsch is slower but has better physical presense. Yakupov is somewhere between the two, but plays the other wing. Also don't count Chanandler Bong out of this mix, he's by far the best offensive center available in this draft.
Also note: none of the players in the league were listed in the QMJHL Entry Draft Rankings or the OHL Priority Selection. All the players playing bantam in Ontario or the Eastern praries will be drafted into the OHL, and all the East Coast/Quebec players will go to the Q, it's something I have no control over. However, what I've realized in the WHL is that all players play another year of Bantam after they get drafted, even if they're a top-5 pick, so everyone should reach the Major Juniors rank around the same time.

Did you know that Whitney Houston's debut LP, called simply Whitney Houston had 4 number one singles on it? Did you know that, Christie? It's hard to choose a favorite among so many great tracks, but "The Greatest Love of All" is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since, Elizabeth, it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message, crucial really. And it's beautifully stated on the album.

Projected 4th overall. I'm happy.
Edit - Wow. First time in a while that I have seen a goalie projected to go top 10.
